Pressuremeter

Foundex has experience conducting Pressuremeter Testing (PMT). Pressuremeter testing is a highly effective in‑situ method for evaluating the stiffness and strength of soil and soft rock. The PMT is performed by radially expanding a cylindrical probe within a pre‑gauged diameter borehole using hydraulic pressure. This expansion applies stress to the surrounding soil, and the resulting deformation is measured to generate a stress–strain curve.
